Biography
Evgeny Titov, born in Kazakhstan, is an opera and theatre director working at leading European houses and festivals. His opera credits include Tri Sestri (Salzburg Festival), Iolanta (Vienna State Opera), The Love for Three Oranges (Semperoper Dresden), Tannhäuser and Wozzeck (Graz Opera), L’Orfeo and Lessons in Love and Violence (Zurich Opera), Le nozze di Figaro (Bayerische Staatsoper), L’incoronazione di Poppea (Opéra national du Rhin), and Oedipe and Salome (Komische Oper Berlin). His theatre work includes productions at Dresden State Theatre, Linz State Theatre, Düsseldorf Theatre (Macbeth, Richard III, King Lear and The Crucible), the Salzburg Festival (Summer Guests) and Munich Residenztheater (Desire Under the Elms). Upcoming engagements include Dutch National Opera, Zurich Opera and Vienna State Opera.
