Ahead of the launch of Angela Hartnett’s new rooftop restaurant and terrace bar at the Royal Opera House, Angela and co-host Nick Grimshaw present a live special of their award-winning podcast, with surprise guests.

Background

For one night only, Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett OBE and co-host Nick Grimshaw bring their chart-topping podcast Dish from Waitrose to the historic Royal Opera House Main Stage for an exclusive live show.

They welcome a lineup of special guests for a 90-minute dinner party filled with delicious conversation, signature recipes and infectious laughter.

Since 2022, Dish from Waitrose has become a cultural and foodie phenomenon. The podcast blends Angela Hartnett’s culinary expertise with Nick Grimshaw’s witty interviewing skills to bring listeners recipes, insider food-tips and candid chats with a host of celebrity guests. Previous attendees to the Dish from Waitrose podcast include Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor and Angela’s fellow chef and mentor Gordon Ramsay.

Access

There is lift access and step-free routes to over 100 seats in the Stalls Circle, Balcony and Amphitheatre. There are 10 steps or fewer to some seats in the Stalls Circle, Balcony, Amphitheatre and the Donald Gordon Grand Tier. All seats in the Orchestra stalls are accessed by 9 steps or more. A handheld bell is rung by Front of House staff to signal guests to take their seats before a performance. The bell is loud and can be startling. The bell is rung approximately ten minutes before the show starts and at each interval.
