Pamela Tan Nicholson is a British creative entrepreneur of Chinese heritage. Born in Singapore she trained as both a pianist and a lawyer before moving to London in 1983. Described by a London critic as ‘a one-woman polymath’, she combines the discipline of a traditional classicist with the imagination of an innovative modernist. Her works bring together diverse genres, artistic disciplines and cultural influences. She has performed and presented her work in more than forty countries. Her collaborations with McRae and Vassilev include Trioperas.
